My Favorite Read in 2010 - Outliers by: Malcolm Gladwell
Although Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers has been in print for going on two years now... I did not have the chance to read it until this year. Being the best read of my 2010 campaign I thought i would honor it in my best of 2010 list.
As Gladwell did in previous works Blink and Tipping point....hes frames ideas around our world from a completely different perspective... in Outliers he illustrates how who we are can not be separated from where we come from... How birth dates...family values...and birthplaces have a dynamic impact on our success.
Overall Gladwell offers that everyone is an Outlier if you choose to see that your always given the necessary resources to make magic happen....Its just whether you choose to see it or not...we are all blessed with hidden advantages for success at something...and this book will plant great insights in your mind....leading you to discover your own path.
